- Christmas in July Project - Here's a little sneak peek!! My tutorial will be up next week over at Sew Festive Handmade - be sure to stop here, and check out the whole line-up and see the tutorials that are already up.
I have plenty of other projects I'm working on, I just need to find some time to actually work on them and take some pictures! I'm going to do a whole projects-in-progress post sometime soon (even if only for my own sanity) so that I can see what I've got cooking. If I were to turn it into a link-up, finish one project in August, prizes!!, kind of event would anyone be interested in joining in?!
Another blogging side-note, I know I'm rambling now, but does anyone know how to get tabs at the top of your blog? Or can point me to a tutorial of how to make them? I tried before but I just can't get it.
Also, don't forget that the awesome Let's Get Acquainted Blog Hop is still going on over at Plum & June. Stop by and meet some of your fellow bloggers! Here's the post with all of the posters and the dates, and here's who is posting this week:
July 10
Jenelle from Echinops and Aster
Rebecca from Sew Festive Handmade
Marti from 52 Quilts in 52 Weeks
Linking up @ Freshly Pieced this week!
It's all lovely! You're bee blocks look fresh and gorgeous. And who wouldn't love your blissful birthday quilt?
ReplyDeleteFinding time to actually works on projects seems to keep getting harder and harder for me.
ReplyDeleteTo make tabs on the top of your blog go into your Blogger set-up. On the left-hand side there is an option to click "Pages" right under "Posts". Click on the drop-down for New Page - you can choose either a blank page, which you write just like a blog post, and will take the reader to that stand-alone page when clicked, or you can choose the web address, which is what my 'Christmas in July' tab is...it takes the reader to the post I put up about the event. All my other tabs are blank pages though, because it gives you a little more control.
ReplyDeleteYou can also choose whether to have the tabs run across the top or along the side by clicking the drop-down link just above the list of pages you have.
You can rearrange the order of the pages by hovering your mouse on the little blue part on the left side of the box that has each individual page. Just click after your mouse becomes that little 4-arrow symbol and drag and drop until you have your desired placement for all the tabs.
Hope that wasn't too confusing! Let me know if you still need help!
Your Heal blocks lok absolutely perfect. Happy stitching : )
